Agility Guide

In Agility, my suggestion would be to try and get your agility level up fastest by going to an obstacle course that is a level close to yours.  If you're quick with a mouse, go to the agility course on Karamja (bring food, as you can fail the obstacles and fall) and try to get as many tickets as possible.  If somehow you manage to get 1k tickets you can get 320k xp for agility!  As for goals, I would say lv 40 is a pretty good goal just for a pretty wide range of obstacle courses and all the moves being accessible.  There is always the plus of energy not going down as fast for agility, remember.

Combat Guide

Combat includes HP, Attack, Defense, and Strength.  The easiest way to get experience for these is to fight monsters that are close to your level, but not too close, and not higher than, or you could get hurt, and possibly die.  However, if you have about lv 50 or so Combat, I would suggest trying to beat Lessers.  Bring lobbies, as you could easily die.  The suggested place is Karamja Dungeon- if you have beaten Dragon Slayer, fight the ones through the secret wall.  If not, fight the ones in the open area (watch out for deadly red spiders) A goal to reach is level 40 for both attack and defense-it allows you to use full rune and a rune weapon of any kind.  Members would really want lv 60, however, for wielding full dragon.  For strength and HP, you want level 50 as a goal, because the higher your strength is, the harder you hit.  In other words, you can do more damage in one hit with better strength.  The higher your HP is, the longer you can survive.  Some people are "pures", simply meaning they choose one combat skill and stick with it. This is why you should be careful when going to the wild-pures look weak sometimes, but oftentimes are a lot stronger than you think.

Cooking Guide

The best way to get your cooking level up fast is to fish and then cook the fish you catch.  This is easier than cooking cakes, bread, or other things like stew, because you don't really have to do much work. (plus you can lv up in fishing at the same time)  Goals in terms of cooking is definitely level 40.  This is because you can cook lobsters, which are worth a lot of money when cooked.  Plus, Lobsters heal a lot of damage.  Of course you want to have your fishing level high enough to fish lobsters, too, but refer to the fishing section for that.

Crafting Guide

Crafting is a simple skill to get xp for.  The easiest way is to get your smithing and mining levels up to level 40 ASAP (this is not an easy task though) to mine and smelt gold.  Then get a ring mould (better moulds as your crafting gets higher up) at level 5 so you can make gold rings.  This is also a great way to make money, as gold rings sell for a fair price.  There are tons of goals, depending on what you focus on.  If you are a serious miner, level 27 is a goal.  This is because you will frequently get gems and thus will need to cut them (at this level you can cut emeralds and sapphires).  If you are a mage, levels 54, 58, 62, and 66 are goals (if you are a member) because you can make your own staffs.  If you are a serious runecrafter, level 23 is a goal because you can craft tiaras.  Level 10 is nice for member rangers, because you can make bow strings, and so is level 63 because you can make all dragonhide armor, which is ranging armor.  Level 33 is a goal for those who focus on herblore, because you can make vials to put your potions in.  Level 7 is a great level for cooking because you can make bowls, pots, and pie dishes to cook in.  As you can see, it really depends on what your main skill is what your goal should be.

Farming Guide

Many people have long time been waiting for this new skill, and finally it came out.  But after all the buzz, people seem to hate it a lot.  In my opinion, this is a very fun skill.  Although I'm sure many non-members were disappointed that it wasn't useable for them, this will surely inspire more people to join the members, and Jagex can only make money out of members.  But onto the skill; the fastest way to get your level up is to buy a lot of seeds or get seeds somehow, such as stealing from seed stalls (there's one in Draynor Village) at lv 27 thieving.  Then, create composts to plant your crops in (after all, your level isn't going to go up very fast if all of your plants die!) because composted plants are less likely to disease.  Carry a few extra plant cures to make sure that your plants don't get diseased anyway.  Goals would include lv 26 for people who like using herblore and making potions because you can grow limpwurt (and some herbs) and so making potions can go faster.  Cookers will probably like lv 42 because they can grow curry to make curry with.  People who dye a lot of things will find levels 5, 10, and 25 useful.  This way you can grow onions for yellow dye, redberries for red dye, and woad leaves for blue dye, respectively.  Some people think yellow capes are rare.  Well for those who do, sell them yellow capes for high prices (like 200gp).  Its not TONS of money, but its a lot for a simple cape.  (but go into non-members because otherwise they probably won't buy) And so on and so on.

Firemaking Guide

Firemaking can be easy to get xp for, depending.  Essential to this is a tinderbox.  If you don't mind spending money, then you can buy all of your logs from the general store (there's almost always some there).  However, if you can't spend money like that, then a proper axe is essential, preferably an iron, steel, or possibly even mith.  A good axe or a lot of money is the fastest way to get your firemaking level up.  Its always a good idea to keep extra tinderboxes in the bank just in case you lose one.  Then cut and burn the logs.  Level 15 is essential (as long as your woodcutting is too or if you have a lot of money) for all people, because oak is a low-level-easy-to-find-and-cut log.  Firemaking in itself is not really something to focus on, as its really a mini-skill.  Its in-between woodcutting and cooking.  However, if cooking is the skill for you, this is something to train, although often times ranges are a LOT more useful...

Fishing Guide

Fishing is really not that easy for me to say how to easily get things; pretty much just go to a fishing spot and fish.  Once you can use a rod, buy tons of bait and just keep fishing.  Have cooking materials on hand (or if you fish in Catherby, members only, then there's a range close by to cook in so you don't have to waste space, and for that matter depositing is pretty easy there too) so you can cook and eat (or drop if it burns) the fish so you don't have to stop to sell, deposit, or anything else.  Level 40 is a great level because you can fish lobsters, which, as I said in the Cooking section, is worth a lot of money, especially if you cook it.

Fletching Guide

For fast xp, make bows, and not arrows.  While arrows require feathers, logs, and arrowtips, bows only require a bowstring and logs.  This way you can make things faster.  A goal for fletching is level 35 because you can make up to steel arrows and up to willow shortbows.  Not only can you make money this way, but steel arrows are nice to have, and willow bows let you use up to Mithril arrows.

Herblore Guide

Herblore is similar to Runecrafting in that you have to beat a guest to even use it.  However, this skill is definitely not the same thing as runecrafting.  For quick xp on this skill, you should bring lots of food (cakes or lobsters probably) and go kill Hill Giants in the house north west of Varrock.  At only lv 12, you can use the limpwurt roots you find to make strength potions.  Plus, you repeatedly get herbs, and oftentimes people leave them on the ground.  For goals, this is another skill that really depends.  If you like using potions, it depends on how you fight (mage, warrior, ranger) what a goal for you is.  However, if you dislike using potions and would rather sell them, then things will be different.  If you are a warrior, lvs 3, 12, and 30 are good for making potions to raise your combat.  For all you mages out there, sorry, but the only magic potion can be made at lv 76.  Better get moving! (Note: use a Wizard's Mind bomb, which can be found at the Falador bar, to raise your mage lv by 2 temporarily if you can't get potions).  Rangers, sorry, but you need lv 72 to make yourselves some potions.  Fishers, you want to get to lv 50.  People who use prayer a lot (which could be a lot of people) need lv 38 to restore their prayer fast.  Merchants (as in people who sell stuff, not necessarily the 'buy cheap sell big' kind) want lv 50 or so just to make a good amount of potions.

Magic Guide

The easiest way to get magic is to have a lot of money or talismans and rune essence.  This is to get runes to cast spells with.  A staff is very important, especially if you're a mage.  An air staff is very convenient because it replaces air runes if you are casting a spell, and water, fire, and earth staffs work the same way, with their respective element.  Now if only there was a law staff!  Also, with a staff, you can set a spell for your attack instead of repeatedly clicking on a spell.  The best place to train mage is Wizard's Tower.  Fight the lesser at the top.  It's a common training place, but it can't hurt you, and as long as you bring a lot of runes, it works out pretty well.  Level 33 is a nice level to be at because you can Tele-grab (Telekinetic Grab).  It saves you 10k on Dragon Slayer, and in downstairs Varrock West Bank, its very useful, not to mention at Wizards Tower.  If you can kill the Lesser using mage/range (melee is useless) and then telegrab the drop, you could get as good as a Rune Med. Helm!  If you can fight them head on in melee, then its not that useful as it just wastes runes.  Also you can teleport to Varrock/Lumbridge, which can be helpful if you're in a fight that you don't think that you can win, or if you're just too lazy to walk.  The only problem is that you need law runes to telegrab/teleport, and they are rare.  Either buy them for 1k  in non-members, or 300-500gp in members (if you have tons of money to waste, go ahead), or get your runecrafting to lv 54 (that's not gonna be easy either!)  to get easy laws.  Another plus is to enchant Sapphires and Emeralds (members only).  Teleportation devices in themselves (ring of dueling, enchanted emerald ring, and games necklace, enchanted sapphire necklace), they can prove useful for quick travel to Castle Wars when you're at Al-Kharid and vice versa, plus quick travel to Burthorpe Games Room to challenge a friend or just for quick travel.  But don't forget the combat spells; they aren't bad either!

Mining Guide

OK, the first thing I have to say about mining is that it is a great money-making strategy.  The best way to get your level up is to go to a mining spot that is not crowded and mine the best thing there that you can mine.  Level 31 is a goal for everyone because you can use the awesome addy pick (which may not be as cool as the rune pick, but its not half as expensive either!) and mine coal.  Moneymakers, coal is the best way to make money in mining without very extreme and brutal training with mining.  High level players buy coal for 100 gp each because coal is required to smelt steel, mith, addy, and runite bars.  This means that you can make 10k for mining 100 coal, and sometimes people will buy them for a little more, such as 120gp.  Must I say anymore?  Actually, yes.  You wouldn't believe that members buy iron for 100gp each a lot of the time!  But they do, so with very rigorous training (this is a great strategy but as i said before coal is the best without the rigorous training) you can get 100k, or even 1mil for mining iron in thousands.  1k iron=100k-with a rune pick and lv 45 or so mining, iron is easy to mine (yet very boring to mine, as you mine it so fast there's no time to stop to read or anything , whereas coal takes a minute or so to mine and a short break can be taken) You could also merchant it (not as in the selling kind, as in the 'buy cheap sell big' kind). Someone tried buying 10k iron from me for 300k!! Its worth 700k MORE than that, so that would have been a great profit...if only i hadn't decided to sell to someone else 5k iron for 500k....

Prayer Guide

There is only one way to get your prayer level up; bury bones!  However, there is still a 'best' way to get your xp up.  Get your combat level in the 30's and get a brass key.  Go north west of Varrock and open the door to the small house with the key.  Go down and you will see Hill Giants (level 28).  Kill them to obtain big bones, which give you more prayer xp when you bury them.  A goal is level 43 because if you use the prayer right before you die, you keep 1 extra item.  Also, you will have already obtained the prayer which allows you to gain hp back 2x as fast, as well as some attack, strength, and defense raising prayers.  The main reason for this goal, however, is Protect from Magic, Protect from Missiles, and Protect from Melee, which protect you from magic attacks, ranged attacks, and melee attacks, respectively.  Very handy.

Ranging Guide

The easiest way to get your level up is to either fletch arrows, members only, (after you have a bow of course) as high as you can and then range until you run out and repeat the process, or buy cheap arrows (such as bronze) in large quantities and train.  Level 70 is good to have if you are a member, (see the member's section for details) because you can use black dragonhide armor, as well as a crystal bow and a magic bow (it has a special), which is very useful.  If you are a non-member, level 40 is the goal because you can use green dragonhide armor, and the best non-member bow, maple.

Runecrafting Guide

Note: The easiest way to craft runes requires something you may not have access to.  The easiest way to runecraft: mine massive amounts of essence, and find a friend or two to hold your essence while you craft, have them trade it back, craft them, and repeat.  This person should be someone that you trust, because if they aren't, they may steal your rune essence.  You should probably gather friends that you know and trust, or just do it the long way.  Another way is essence running- pay people to run your noted essence to the bank to change into real essence, you craft it, and repeat.  A must for member runecrafters is level 54-you can craft law runes!  Not only is this a great source of income, but laws are the best runes that you can craft, and are hard to get.  Crafting them is the easiest way to get them.  However, obtaining a law talisman is NOT an easy task...

Slayer Guide

Really, this is one skill that there is no 'fastest' way to get xp.  Pretty much, just go to a Slayer Master and fight what he says to (probably a suggested way is to go to a Slayer Master good for your level, or you could end up dead a few times, or if in my case, get suggested to a higher master because you are powerful).  Unfortunately, there really is no goal for Slayer.  Lv 85 is the best goal because not only can you beat any Slayer monster, and wear any armor, but you can fight Abyssal Demons!  You may say "What's so great about that?" Well, sometimes they drop Abyssal Whips! (or Abby Whips for short) not only are these very good, but you could get a lot of money off of selling them-get one for yourself then every other one you get, sell it!

Smithing Guide

Smithing is the awesome counterpart to mining.  Although mining does really rake in cash, smithing rakes in even more cash.  The fastest way for smithing is just like runecrafting: refer to that section for details.  Although level 68, 88, and 99 are great because you can make full mith, full addy, and full rune (respectively), they are extremely hard to get to, and thus, level 40 is a more reasonable goal.  Its great for crafters, and you can smith some fair armor and weapons at that level.  A must for those who love money.

Thieving Guide

Thieving is a really cool skill.  The easiest way to get your lv up fast is to pickpocket different people and stalls (the ones that require a lv close to yours) as your lv progresses.  This skill is much like crafting; it depends on what skill you focus on what your goal is.  Crafters should have a goal of lv 5.  Farmers will want to get to lv 27.  Fisherman (or actually anyone, since they have fish and not just equipment) would like to be at lv 42.  Mages, cooks, and Warriors are going to have to go further-lv 65.  Everyone and I mean EVERYONE will want to get to lv 75.  You can steal gems!  Get your crafting lv up so you can cut all gems, then steal them and cut them!  You will rake in LOTS of cash.  As for other things such as lock picking and pick pocketing, really there is no specific goals for those since you could get a variety of things for those.  I guess 50 for those- you're halfway and can do a variety of things.  Thieving can be really fun, especially when you stare at your huge collection of choc slices and whole cakes that you stole...

Woodcutting Guide

The easiest way to get your woodcutting level up is to get to level 15.  I know that sounds weird, but it does work.  Oaks (as well as willows, maples, hollows, yews, and magics) usually give you at least a few logs before they are cut down, making you work a lot less. Level 60 is a must; if you cut giant masses of yews, then that's a LOT of money!
